Makes the whole room UNIFORM (equally) warm. No dry air in the room, no smell at all. The desired temperature setting is quite handy and works. This is better than other brands where there is only a knob with eg 1-3. Perhaps not the most important, but also must say: really nice design.
In a cold room it builds up the temperature bit slower, as other people wrote, but it keeps well at the same temperature, without being "too hot", "too cold", "less, "more", etc...You put the desired temperature, and you do nothing, it works well itself.
If you want, there are many options for day/night programming, or other sort of programming e.g. by day/hour, etc... But it's not that easy to program, because the instructions aren't good enough in my opinion . (also on the English manual, but better - if that's not because of my Dutch!)
It is a minus point that it costs a lot of money. But, quality comes with a price. That was the only reason that made me doubt "should I or not" but possibly I am really happy with that purchase.
