The Xbox Elite Series 2 doesn't reinvent the wheel, but sometimes feels like a revolution. From taking a screenshot with a single paddle press, to wireless charging, to using tighter analog sticks, it stacks the deck with tweaks that make a big difference depending on what games you're playing and what controller you've used to to play them. It really is one of the best controllers for PC gaming and Xbox One. The only real downside is the price: how about spending 180 on a controller with a new Xbox around the corner? I really hope Microsoft does a good job with people buying this thing and supporting it with the next generation, which seems likely. There's a lot to love here and you'll want to use it for years to come.
And now the negative part.
Like version 1, version 2 also has many factory flaws. Especially the first batches of v2 have a lot of problems. Facebuttons that stick when pressed. There is also a lot of stick drift. I myself have now had to exchange my controller 2x and my 3rd controller still suffers from malfunctioning face buttons. Microsoft has acknowledged this and is working on a fix.
Fortunately, coolbleu offers one of the best service and warranty with all their products. So exchanging is fortunately easy if you are a victim of such a faulty controller.
