Okay, fridge broken... order a new one online. That turns out not to be so easy if you have an old Ikea kitchen... quite little that fits in it. But hey, that saves choice again. With my fridge-cupboard size, I only had 1 choice at coolblue.
Fast delivery, nice guys/men. I just ignored the comment "must acclimatize for 4 hours first"... because samsung doesn't mention that in the manual... They were too early... 1.5 hours earlier than planned, no problem for me.
I was horrified to install. Samsung can certainly learn something from Ikea's user manuals. Installation service from coolblue was not an option because of corona (coolblue thinks, I'm a little more open-minded ;-) ).
Result; it's in place, but when I close the fridge door, the freezer door blows open... that's not practical, isn't it... Anyone have a tip against that? (I used to say "Coolblue, don't let me do the installation myself!") Oh, speaking of that... note; some screws are too long! So now I have a 'bulge' from a screw coming through in my kitchen door :-(
Now, the noise... Many reviewers complain about the noise, especially the first few hours... so with some trepidation I turned on the fridge... I laid my ear flat against it looking for the noise being complained of ... but not found, it is really quieter than my previous refrigerator. And colder, also not unimportant.
Then the layout, which always takes some getting used to and those advertising photos, they always turn out differently for me... so here, my layout (woe, woe, farmers' protests yesterday, supermarket empty, so I couldn't get it fuller) For families with children; yes, there are 3 loaves of bread in the freezer, of that high ... but they should not make them any longer, because it is tight ...
Now, he's cold. Stuffed. So I'm satisfied... (except for that flapping door... did I already ask for a tip?)
