The eufy Omni E25 is a smart robot vacuum cleaner with a thorough mopping function. During my test, I was particularly struck by the combination of strong suction power, thorough mopping, smart navigation and an automatic cleaning station. As a result, this robot almost completely takes over the cleaning for me.
Strong suction power even in the corners
I immediately notice that the robot vacuums thoroughly. It has a suction power of 20,000 Pascal, which is quite high. It also sucks dirt out of corners and along skirting boards. While the robot is doing its cleaning round, I see the side brush sticking out every now and then. When the robot reaches a corner, the side brush slides out and takes dust and crumbs with it. The brush on the bottom of the robot sucks it into the dust container. Because this brush has an anti-tangle function, the hairs do not get stuck. I don't have any pets myself, but I can imagine that this prevents quite a bit of hassle.
Thorough mopping function with stain recognition
The mopping function does its job thoroughly and independently. The first thing I notice is that the mop brush is wide compared to many other robots. The robot keeps the mop brush continuously wet. I can see that it mops the floor neatly. In combination with the wide brush, the robot cleans large surfaces well. Thanks to the camera, it recognizes dirty spots. I can see that the robot continues scrubbing in such a spot for longer. It only continues when the stain is gone.
Maintenance-free thanks to automatic cleaning station
When the robot has finished its cleaning round, it drives back to the base station. It empties its dust container, washes and dries the mop, refills the water and discharges dirty water. It also automatically adds cleaning agent. So I don't really have to do anything. I only empty and refill the station occasionally. The station makes quite a bit of noise while the mop brush is drying. So I have to think about it that this doesn't happen at inconvenient times. The station also takes up some space. Of course, you get in return that you don't vacuum and mop yourself.
Smart navigation, even when you're not at home
The robot vacuum cleaner always drives smoothly through my house. Thanks to the camera and sensors, it recognizes obstacles such as shoes and cables. It drives neatly around them and doesn't get stuck. Even when I'm away, it cleans the entire floor neatly. I keep a close eye on the cleaning via the app. So I know for sure that my floor is neatly cleaned.
