Working with a new bread machine is always a bit of a search. I remember that my mother used to have a few failed bakes before it really worked. This was also the case with us. One time the bread had risen too hard, another time too little. Then also a bread that was absolutely not mixed well, probably by having chosen a wrong setting.
But in the meantime we have mastered it much better and I have been able to bring fresh sandwiches to work several times.
