Well, it all happens automatically. When printing large amounts of pages (think 100+ pages), the printer stops every so often to cool down.

Exactly a year later the exact same thing happened. According to the very customer-unfriendly Brother service employee, this was because I had reset the toner too many times (1 time, to be precise). This is because the printer indicated that the toner was empty, when this was not the case at all. Yes, you read that right, a built-in software function of the printer causes random bits of metal to blow loose in the fuser unit, destroying your printer. Brother, of course, wanted to see money, even though the device was still under legal warranty. To make matters worse, one of the toners had also started to leak. Well, according to Brother, that was my fault, of course. After a lot of angry e-mails, it was eventually solved (free of charge) via Coolblue, as is normal with warranty issues.
The fun is a bit off now, as the ADF now shows stripes on the front of scans and I see randomly colored dots on the paper, with color prints. So it is actually a bit of a wait and see what the next problem will be.
After this fiasco and Brother's lousy service, never another Brother printer for me. I thought HP was worthless, but this beats everything.
