Wrong purchase

Is not actually a GPS, I thought enter address and ready but unfortunately absolutely not possible, loading routes with bicycle nodes is also not possible .. so wrong purchase for me

First of all, the V650 has a very bright color screen. Loading GPX routes is easy via Polar Flow. The device works very fast, touchscreen is very easy to operate. Wired transfer to PC is also effortless. So far the plus points :)

The route maps only show which direction you should go. No other streets, etc., are indicated. So if you cycle wrong, or if a road is closed, it is difficult to find an alternative route. It is therefore impossible to go somewhere on the spec and then find a route back home.

The screen often jumps between the different options while cycling. One moment it shows the route with how many km you still have to go, the next moment it shows a screen with your speed, etc. I find that annoying and shouldn't be.

The biggest downside I think is that the synchronization with my Android phone does not work. This should go through Bluetooth. Pairing is successful, but then the device displays a "Sync failed" message. I now understand that it has been down for almost a year because of the changes within Android (something with protocols that they can't or shouldn't use for bt-connection). Whoever told me that checked with Polar and they didn't think it was going to work. Very bummed! Had I known this in advance, I would NOT have bought the V650. With an iPhone the problems are not there, if I understood correctly.

Due to the transfer by cable to the PC, the device is not completely written off. But if you don't have a PC/laptop on the road or on vacation, then you have a problem..
