I have had this super wide angle lens for several months now. I use them on my EOS 7D and my EOS 60D. I must honestly admit that this lens is a gem. It is always in my bag as standard when I go out. I take a lot of photos of large buildings, so this lens is a nice alternative to the 10-22 mm. The price is not too bad, AND, there is image stabilization on the lens, making Canon the first to have designed an ultra-wide angle lens with IS.

I do have a tip for using this lens, (and all ultra wide angle lenses). Make your photo much bigger than you normally would. This is for the simple reason that you have a lot of loss on your photo by correcting the keystoning. And if you still want to make a nice crop,... I don't have to make a drawing, do I?

I only use this super lens for architecture and interior photography, so I can't speak to its use in landscapes, but from the photos I've seen from colleagues, the lens is also a gem here.
