Last week I sold my iMac 27" & MB Air 13" and bought an MBP Retina 15" back for this (because of being on the road more to customers). Of course I was looking for an extra screen for the office. I decided to buy the screen from Dell. The specifications and previous experiences appealed to me so much that I ordered the screen. Besides the reliability of Dell, I can only say one thing after a first day of work: wow. The screen is really great good.
I use it as a single screen (with my MBP as desktop) at a resolution of 2560 x 1440 px (retina) where my work consisted of web and mobile design with video and photo editing as side tasks. So I'm also quite demanding when it comes to color fidelity and things like that.
