According to our smart light expert
The Philips Hue Go is a wireless smart lamp that you take everywhere you go. Place it on the table during a romantic dinner and choose 1 of many light scenes from your smartphone or tablet. If you don't have a smartphone or tablet on hand, use the button on the Hue Go to select 1 of 7 default settings. The Philips Hue Go will also transform your bathroom into a home spa because it's resistant to high humidity. The Hue Go's wake-up function will help you wake up feeling refreshed and rested every morning.
Philips Hue lights are compatible with various smart home platforms, such as Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, IFTTT, and Apple HomeKit.

After reading many reviews and weighing all the pros and cons, I decided to choose the Hue Go over the Hue Iris or Bloom. Immediately ordered via Coolblue and delivered the next day!
Portability of the lamp has been my deciding factor for the purchase. As a result, the lamp can be used in several ways, so that in my opinion you get more value for your money. Below you can read how I use the lamp.
Due to its portability, the Hue Go is a nice addition to my living room next to my Hue Whites and Hue Lightstrip. The lamp can be used nicely to provide my only "dark" corner in the living room with a super nice light effect. For example as a spotlight under one of the plants, or with the help of the "Candle effect" to create more atmosphere.
If I go to bed at bedtime, the Hue Go lends itself perfectly as a lamp for the bedroom. In the dimmed position, the light is really barely present, which helps with falling asleep. The dimmed mode can also be used in the Hue Go, if you have to get out of bed at night. The lamp remembers the last selected color scheme or scene.
The dimmed position is nice to ensure that your partner does not have to be woken up immediately by a pimple light from the bedroom or hall.
Portability makes the Hue Go not only suitable as a "flashlight". Due to the different color settings, the lamp is also nice to use on the balcony on a beautiful summer evening. I have already received many positive reactions from guests and neighbors, who think it all looks very cozy. Hard plastic exterior, through which some light also falls, also contributes to the atmospheric lighting.
Of course, not everything is smooth sailing with the Hue Go. While portability is a big advantage, it also comes with a disadvantage. The Hue go is not large and does not contain a gigantic battery. The battery life is therefore limited, but in dimmed mode the advertised 3 hours is certainly achievable. However, if the light is fully turned on, the battery life will be shortened considerably.
The position of the plug connection is also illogical in my view. When the Hue Go is connected to the power and you want to place the Hue Go tilted, it leans on the plug. This makes the lamp look a bit more unstable. I would have found a connection point on the back more logical. Or even better; the possibility of wireless charging!
All in all, as far as I'm concerned, the advantages of the lamp far outweigh the disadvantages. I am very satisfied with my purchase and the good service and fast delivery by Coolblue.

The lamp is smaller than I thought, which is good because I can now easily put it anywhere. It provides a lot of light and is therefore the perfect mood setter on, for example, a balcony or bedroom. Very handy that it runs on a battery, so you don't have to bother with wires. The only point of attention is the location of the power cord, which means that the lamp cannot be conveniently placed on its side while it is connected to the power.

Great addition to my collection of Hue lamps. Cheaper than the original Living Colors, but feels less 'plastic' because the lamp also has a reasonable weight due to the built-in battery. Beautiful design in which the light not only radiates to the front, but also partly through the 'bowl' to the side/back.
On the adapter, the thing gives a box, 300 lumens. On the battery, that switches back considerably so as not to drain the battery in one go, but you always have about 40% left. Charging takes an hour and a half, after which you have up to 3 hours of wireless light. But of course you can also just leave it hanging neatly on the adapter and it is always ready.
Without a remote control, you can use the button on the back to set a number of predefined scenes, including a special low-light 'candle mode', but white light can also be quickly recalled. By pressing the button 2x and holding it on the 2nd click, the lamp starts to walk through all the colors. Letting go = holding the color: super handy if you don't have your phone to hand!
