Easy to pair with polar Loop
Gives clear directions
No fat, muscle and bone mass calculation

We are true Polar fans, and this scale was a gift for my friend. He loves it, lost 2kg within a week using the Polar Scale. The app gives clear instructions and is very motivating. Only pity is that you don't have a food intake diary, so you do get coaching of what you could take less, but the calculation is based on an unknown eating pattern (?!)

The scale is nicely designed. You step on it, and the measurement quickly appears on the screen. It is ideal in combination with a Polar sports watch and the Polar Flow app.

Unfortunately I have returned the scale. For me, the negatives were greater than the positives: the display does not show any light, so stepping on the scale in the dark is not possible. The weight on this scale was consistently one kg lower than my other scales. Also compared it to the calibrated scale at the gym, and even then the Polar Balance was lower than the calibrated scale. Because I do a sport with weight classes, it is important for me to know my weight as accurately as possible. I didn't have that confidence with this Polar Balance.

I also think it's a big disadvantage that you can only indicate in the app that you want to lose weight as a goal. Apparently Polar thinks that people can have that as their only goal. But you don't always want to lose weight, sometimes you just want to keep your weight for periods, or maybe even gain weight. And that is not possible with the app! Very unfortunate, and even a bit resentful of Polar.
