the calling home function

Great device, I would recommend it to everyone ... but ... Hellas, the C2 sometimes loses the WiFi signal and can no longer be reached over your LAN. A power reset is then sufficient to bring the camera back to life. Even after the firmware update the problem is not solved.

It turns out ... the C2 from Foscam does a "calling home" to some IP address in China. After searching the internet several times, my router was set so that this C2 could no longer access the internet. So a complete BLOCK. That was the solution . My C2 has been running for weeks now without any problems and is 100% up and accessible. Great device, only you have to indicate in your router that this C2 cannot access the internet.
