In the end I ended up with this House Of Marley Bag of Riddim 2. Because the speaker is relatively new, there are almost no reviews about this model. My brother has the "get together" from House of Marley, it also sounds very good, but lacks some bass and volume in my opinion.
Because I already knew House of Marley and I also liked my brother's speaker, I finally went for "the bag of riddim II" and I have to say: I haven't regretted it for a second!
My usage :
As soon as I got the speaker at home (top service from Coolblue, very fast delivery as always) I immediately switched on and started listening, I listen to a lot of rap and R&B myself. This speaker has enabled me to re-enable all my favorite albums. The sound is just fantastic, deep bass, incredibly clear and full sound, you can also hear each instrument well separately.
The bass is really fanatically even a bit deeper than the JBL Xterme, the advantage of the house of marley is that you can still hear the other tones very well. The sound remains clear and you can still hear all the instruments and the voices very well.
The battery life is also great, it will last for 10 hours if you use the speaker at about 50% volume (this is really loud, at 100% volume you will probably get a call from the neighbors) The speaker has 2 20-watt drivers, and also 2 tweeters. The speaker has a total power of 32 watts. Air is also blown out of the 2 holes in the back of the speaker for the bass. This gives real volume and power from this speaker!
The build quality of the speaker is also good. The speaker feels very solid and, in my opinion, looks really good. The bag that holds the speaker is also very sturdy, I don't use the bag myself because I like the speaker better without, of course the bag is handy if you take the speaker with you.
I haven't found any real downsides yet, the speaker is just not waterproof, but I didn't really use it with my JBL. The sound compensates for the lack of waterproofing for me.
