The Red New Shooter Kit consists of an XLR transmitter and receiver that allows you to make wireless audio recordings. Connect an CLR microphone to the transmitter to make it suitable for conducting interviews. The Shooter Kit has a range 100 meters. Plug your earbuds in the 3.5mm output if you want make sure the distance between the microphone and the person you're recording is right. Mount the receiver on a standard shoe mount, 3/8-inch wire, or a belt clip. Use a micro USB cable, AA batteries or a NP F battery to charge the News Shooter. These aren't included.
