Nice product, easy to hang and install, but unfortunately disappointing sound.

The bass is too quiet, it is only there when you turn it up loud, but then the soundbar itself sounds very shrill. The different modes (voice/music/movie/..) offer no solution for this.

A good upgrade compared to TV speakers, but for room-filling sound with deep bass you still need a more expensive product.

Very nice soundbar to use. The operation feels natural, the illuminated letters quickly make it clear which mode the soundbar is in.

Connecting is easy, the wireless subwoofer makes for easy placement. I've had the subwoofer next to the couch, but I personally think it sounds better when the subwoofer is closer to the soundbar.

Before this I had the more expensive LG SJ4, I immediately brought it back to the store because the sound was really worthless compared to this Sony CT290. In addition, the Sony subwoofer also seems to have a better range.

The sound is very clear, all tones come out well. The subwoofer connects without delay, so that all "kicks" come out well and tight. Voices are very well intelligible without high volume, unlike the LG SJ4, for example.

The different equalizer modes are a nice addition. Music and Cinema live up to their name and really add to the experience.

Too bad it doesn't have a 3.5mm jack connection. This forced me to purchase a coax to optical adapter. This of course improves the quality.

Highly recommended! I am considering buying a second one for a different room. Unfortunately no multiroom support, but in my situation I do not intend to play the same audio in all rooms.
