Vibrofit

Bought on recommendation, and after 2x testing. Muscle pain, which lasted for several days after some exertion, disappeared immediately the first time, and stayed away! After 2 tries, bought immediately, although the price tag is quite hefty. (€ 300,-)

SERVICE: I've read about issues with power on and off, and settings, but I can't confirm them. There's an on/off button on the front, and then you can control it further with the remote, or you bend over and do it on the touch buttons on the device.

Turns on with the top right button, with familiar sign normally used for on/off. Below that are 2 round buttons, with 2 more below the center section. (1 -2 -3 and M) With this you can switch on 3 preset programs, where 1 is moderate, and 3 goes up and down between position 30 and 90. This is a shorter program of 6.30 minutes, but quite intensive. Button 4 is for manual, where you start at position 1 at 10 minutes.

The center section of the remote control, in manual mode, can be moved right or left for more or less minutes, and up or down to adjust the intensity. You start with the middle button, and you can also stop with that. You cannot adjust the preset programs in time or speed, only the 4th manual program. Finally, there is 1 button at the bottom, which sets the intensity to 99 (max) with the manual program.

So the same functions are on the board itself, and it's really not very complicated. You can't go wrong by just pressing it. Just don't forget to press the middle start button after making your selection. The appliance stops itself at the end of the set time.

USAGE: You simply stand with 2 feet on the device. In the middle is “Walk”, feet a little further apart is “Jog” and at the very outside is “Run”. So the effect is greatest on run, as the vibrations are generated by "tilting" from left to right, but at high speeds, and not only is the distance greater, but the height as well. The height difference is smallest in the middle.

For sensitive people, old age, health, pain, or whatever, just start with “walk”, and manually adjust the mode in the program. In that case, do not start with position 3!

If you just want to loosen up your muscles, and the rest of your body too, you go to “Run” and see which position you like.

You can also do all kinds of other exercises with it, there are extensive examples on the box, with cords that you can attach to the bottom so that your upper body is even more involved. Or you will lean on it with your hands, etc. etc. The possibilities are almost inexhaustible...

WHAT DOES IT DO TO YOU? You will be shaken up a lot... And depending on the position, those vibrations happen more sideways at lower speeds, but more vertically at high speeds. So it definitely makes sense to use the programs, because the effect is different! And yes, unless you maybe have a super-tight trained slim body, everything is going to shake your body, maybe a less charming face!

After a 10-minute workout you will feel that your muscles have worked. Good for those who don't like to exercise for a long time. I use it most after a running session to 'cool down' for 10 minutes.

The Vibrofit is not only for getting fitter but also turns out to be good for letting go of kidney stones, (which I regularly suffer from.) !!!!
