You can't expect miracles for that price. We have chosen this camera to keep an eye on the outside kennel of the dog and it is good enough for that. You also see a large part of the garden, but you can't recognize anyone further on. The image quality is not good enough for that.
Initially you have to install the camera via WIFI with the accompanying app. Through the app everything works very slow and is disappointing. The settings via the app are also limited.
Once an IP has been given via the app, you can also use the interface of the camera itself. This interface looks outdated but works better than via the app.
You have to make the motion detection very sensitive. This doesn't work. We work through a Synology NAS and got a better result through Surveillance Station's motion detection.
The camera does the automatic image adjustments with regard to light, for example cloud, back to full sun, but is also seen as movements.
The camera also needs to be reset every day. Don't worry, you can set this up so that it happens automatically.
