Going back in time, I thought. When unpacking immediately and disappointment; The keyboard is not real. There is an on-screen keyboard to enter (short) texts. For good programming, a separate keyboard must be connected.
The mini has an HDMI connection, an 'old-fashioned' connection for CRT is missing. That hdmi is not compatible with all monitors. So I only got a black screen. The signal was so weak that the monitor went to sleep, only to be immediately woken up again because there was apparently just enough signal to wake the monitor from sleep.
That is why it is such a shame that a connection for CRT is missing.
I got this gem not working on 2 of my HDMI monitors and of course not on the old picture tube.
Fortunately, Cool Blue is not childish and accepted the return without question.
The 8-bit guy has a nice review on youtube that I only saw afterwards. I can recommend this movie. Judging by the info in this video, I certainly wouldn't have left the c-64 mini behind. It turned out that so much more was possible than the description of Cool Blue. It's just a shame I don't have the right monitor.
