According to our television expert
The Sony KD-55XG9505 displays your favorite movies or series in a very lifelike way. This 4K television has HDR10 and Dolby Vision support. This guarantees high brightness and a wide color gamut. The 100Hz refresh rate and X-Motion Clarity technique ensure a smooth display of the fastest movements. That is why this is the ideal TV for watching sports games or action movies. Connect the TV to the internet and get access to websites and useful apps. You can control important functions with Google Assistant via simple voice commands. This way, you can quickly watch a series or request useful information. Like the weather or agenda updates, for example.

I've had this TV for two weeks now and I'm happy to say that this is a really great product. The image quality is excellent and everything looks good, Netflix series (including Peaky Blinder, The Witcher) come into their own in Dolby Vision and games such as God of War and Call of Duty Modern Warfare are impressive (the input lag is also excellent , for gamers this is also a very good TV). Images are especially realistic and that is very important to me, out-of-the-box the TV already performs great and if you also set the Picture Mode to Custom (except for Netflix, use the Netflix Calibrated Mode for Netflix ) then you really get the most out of this TV.
The whole design of the TV is nice. The foot has been thought through, room for a soundbar and solidly built; you can also route the cables along the feet. The bezels are wafer thin and the "champagne silver bezel" at the bottom of the TV really gives the product a premium vibe.
Now I know that many people on the internet complain about "the sound" of this TV and I'm going to touch on this briefly. In my opinion you don't buy a TV for beautiful sound, you need external equipment for that. I understand that the sound -in this price range- is disappointing, but do you really hear that? Is it really disturbing? No, the TV sounds fine and for the people who really want great sound, they usually buy a soundbar with all the trimmings. Audio-wise I can follow everything perfectly, but the sound is indeed not magnificent. This may be improved on the next TV.
The remote control deserves a lot of praise. Predecessors of this Sony TV had significantly less beautifully finished remote controls and Sony has really set to work here to make a new remote control with a better look and feel. If a nice remote control (which also supports voice control) is important to you, then this TV is the right choice for you.
The only downside to this TV that you can't do anything about (compared to the sound that you can solve with external equipment) are a number of Netflix bugs that sometimes detract from the viewing pleasure. I'll just name them:
So if you look at this TV, you have to take into account a number of small bugs with the Netflix Integrated App. But if you watch Netflix via an Apple TV or via a Playstation, for example, then you will not be bothered by anything (but you will miss the Netflix Calibrated Mode). So make choices sometimes.
As for CoolBlue. Top service, the TV was installed neatly for me and the employee was very friendly and helpful. My TV was soon on the TV Furniture. I am very satisfied with my purchase!

I come from a 46” of several years old with some defects. So it was time to upgrade. The TV has been hanging on the wall here for about 5 days now. And I'm very happy with it. The smart functions work perfectly. Had an Android TV box before and this is of course comparable, although I have to get used to the fact that an entire TV is now controlled by Android, which is really new to me. The built-in Chromecast works perfectly, the external Chromecast/Android TV box can go to the bedroom! I am still curious when the Airplay 2 functions will be activated, on some sites you can read something about this. I like the design. Thin edges. Unfortunately, the Sony is a bit thicker than my old Samsung, so it sticks out a bit further. I think the image is beautiful. 4K videos via Netflix are really enjoyable and gaming with the PS4 pro is also fantastic, the image is fast and leaves no haze with fast movements. Black is also quite black for me, although it is just not an OLED black. I did play with the (quite extensive) settings for a while to get the image right for my house, although this image is also quite acceptable by default. I find the sound a bit tinny. Check back soon for a soundbar upgrade. For me and my living room, the upgrade to 55 "and the upgrade to the Sony XG95 is a must. I wonder if I will be even more satisfied with it in combination with a soundbar :-)

TV for a few weeks now and like it very well. Very nice picture and the apps on it work fine.
Come down from 46 inches. In the beginning, the 55 inch or large again, but you get used to it very quickly. Install and hang up went quickly and fine. Just be the two of you to hang him.
Not sure yet if I will use the Google assistant on it. Can be handy, but now I mainly use the separate Google Assistant speaker.
