According to our Cooktop expert
With the ETNA KI160ZT you don't have to wait for a long time before the water for your potatoes is finally boiling. You can use the boost function to boil water or soup a lot faster. All 4 cooking zones of the induction cooktop have this function. Did you receive an important phone call? You can easily put the cooktop in pause mode. This way, you can continue where you left off. The child lock ensures extra safety, so you don't accidentally switch on a cooking setting. This is also useful while cleaning the cooktop.
Note: the required 5-pin Perilex connector is not included. Make sure to order it separately. The connector has to be connected to the cooktop by an electrician, because the connector of each outlet is different.

It does what it's supposed to do, I can cook again

Simple, beautiful plate with a handy control panel, that was the reason we chose this hob. In practice, in our opinion, the plate does not function well. Etna indicates that the plate is oscillating and that this is quite normal. He does that commuting with us if only one pit is switched on. Annoying, the plate goes on and off, there is no constant way of cooking possible and you can hear that by ticking. Doesn't matter what kind of pan we put on it. We've cooked on induction (a relatively cheap one) before but never had any problems with this one. Even if we had all pips at maximum power, there was no commuting problem. Connection is two-phase with periflex plug, that's not the issue. Unfortunately, this induction plate does not meet our expectations. Unfortunately, after consultation with the kitchen supplier, we are now going to purchase a new one without any compensation from Etna.
