Description

With the Q Acoustics 3020i, you can fill a medium-sized living room with sound. These passive bookshelf speakers have a frequency range up to 30,000Hz. This allows you to enjoy a more detailed reproduction of the high frequencies. You won't hear any vibrations of the design, since it's specifically designed not to produce any extra sounds. This means your listening experience remains intact. When the sound is reflected into the room via the back wall, you can put the included foam plugs in the bass reflex ports. This way, you prevent the sound waves from moving back towards the listener and make sure the sound reproduction remains balanced. This means you'll listen to music exactly the way the artist wants you to.

These speakers are highly recommended. The high tones sound very nice and a lot of power can be blown out. I use them myself with a separate subwoofer, in my opinion you do need it for a full sound. For me, a subwoofer with a 60hz crossover works best with these speakers. These speakers can play a fairly good light bass, which means that you do not immediately need a subwoofer. If you let the bass of the speakers do a crossover at the default 80hz, it sounds to me as if the speakers are not sufficiently present. For this reason, I recommend a 60hz cross-ovdr for combi use. So you do need a subwoofer for real deep bass tones, but bookshelf speakers are not made for that either, so you can't blame the speakers for that. Highly recommended for affordable class speakers.
