In use for a few weeks now and I have to say that the Magic Bullet is very nice. We mainly bought it for the trips we make, because in some places on earth it can be quite difficult to eat really healthy as we always do at home. This review has been written based on frequent use in recent weeks, not while traveling but just at home, while at the same time keeping the intended goal in mind.
For our home we have a Bosch SilentMixx, we are also very satisfied with it and comparing apples to oranges in many areas of course. We immediately noticed a big difference and convenience, because every morning we make a glass of oat milk with banana and cocoa, a kind of healthy chocolate milk. Due to the design of the Silentmixx, whole pieces of banana often remain in the end result, the Magic bullet makes everything fine and smooth quickly.
The many accessories are also very useful, a topper is the cap for the cup itself. So you can change the cap after blending and go, which turned out to be very handy for work. The underside, where the motor and blade are located, is quite heavy, depending on the travel you make, this can be a problem. We backpack a lot ourselves and we have to see if that weight causes a problem for the total weight since we only use hand luggage. In the near future we will be exploring the world in a van, for which the Magic bullet will be ideally compact. Because the blender is so compact, it is sometimes a bit cramped, but you can easily fill two glasses, the product is mainly built to be compact and easy to carry, so this is not really a downside, more of a compromise.
Finally, not entirely unimportant is the ease with which you can clean and store the Magic bullet again. This takes less than 2 minutes, a flowing jet of water on it is sufficient even with more intense products such as cocoa. Compared to the Silentmixx, this is really ideal when you want to quickly have something healthy ready for work or when you have a busy day.
