My previous window cleaner from AEG had unfortunately failed within the warranty. So coolblue was kind enough to give me money to pick out a new one. Now it was expensive. And I've had a Karcher windowvac (first generation) before, and it wasn't much of a success. So first I looked at the reviews and youtube videos extensively and decided to buy it anyway.
And that was a pleasant surprise! It is not a cheap device and the consumables and liquid to clean with are also not cheap. But if, like me, you don't have household elves and have to do it yourself, everything is included that gives a good result quickly.
Soaping windows with the KV-4 is hassle-free and fast. It is a kind of sander with a cloth on it that you attach to the machine with Velcro. There is a reservoir on top. You put a little special cleaning fluid in it and fill the rest with water. Dampen the cloth a little before mounting it on the device. Then turn on the device. If you want the device to wet the cloth with cleaning fluid, press a second button. Then you soap the window. With a large window you have to add cleaning liquid several times. You can see that clearly because it foams a bit. When you've done a few windows, turn off the device. The device does not drip, so for indoors you don't have to do more than empty the windowsills.
Then vacuum the window with the WV-6. This device has a silicone lip that acts as a kind of window puller. The water collected behind it is quickly sucked away into a reservoir.
