According to our headphones expert
Thanks to the aptX Bluetooth profile of the Sennheiser HD 350BT, the wireless signal is of high quality. Is the sound quality not quite to your liking and do you want to adjust it? You can download the Sennheiser Smart Control app and adjust the bass and treble with an equalizer. Thanks to the 30-hour battery life you don't have to charge the headphones often.
Note: Sennheiser does include a charging cable, but no charger. Use your own accessories, or purchase them separately.

I came from a Philips SHB7250 and wanted to replace it with an equivalent product for a similar price. With those bluetooth headphones, the sound was very good with some extra bass, the headphones were very comfortable and the battery lasted a long time. It was also handy to fold the headphones, so that you could take them with you everywhere.
After a few days of searching, I came across the Sennheiser HD 350BT. I looked at some reviews and performances and finally pulled the trigger to get one.
The first time I took the headphones out of the box, I immediately noticed that they feel very sturdy. It's made almost exclusively from plastic, but I'm certainly not afraid of it shattering if I drop it. When you shake the headphones, there is also little sound. Other headphones I've owned in the past rattled a lot more when you shook them.
The HD 350BT came out of the box with about 70-80% battery. So I could start right away. It was very easy to pair the headphones with both my laptop and my smartphone. It is also very easy to switch between the two devices. If you are playing music on your smartphone while connected to both your smartphone and your laptop, all you need to do is turn off your music on the smartphone and then provide sound on the laptop to switch. However, listening to the smartphone and the laptop at the same time is not possible.
As for the sound, these headphones have a very balanced sound. Clean basses (not overpowering, so not for fans of huge bass), clear highs and the vocals come through very nicely. You hear every instrument and all vocals very clearly and the distinction is very easy to make, but the whole is at least as beautiful. I personally recommend working with a flat EQ, an EQ with a little bit more bass or a V-shape EQ. After some extensive testing, those three settings seemed to work best for this headset. If you are not so technically minded, it is certainly sufficient to use the default settings of your playback device, since the HD 350BT can also handle it well.
Furthermore, the sound also has the ability to come from anywhere. It doesn't feel like you have a box on your head and that the distance from where the sound comes is limited, but you really get the feeling that you are in a very large open space where the speakers are very strategically placed. It feels very open and that, in combination with the balanced sound, is very pleasant. I've had the headphones for a little over a week now and use them for several hours a day, but I'm sure I haven't developed "ear fatigue" yet.
The fit of this device is ideal for me, but I have small ears. The earcups fit me perfectly, but I can't imagine that it will be equally pleasant for everyone with the matching cups. The space in front of your ears is more limited than any of the other over-ear headphones I've used in the past. However, you can exchange the earcups for others (check the Sennheiser website for that), but it will take some getting used to if you have large ears. The (small) pillow that rests on your head is also very pleasant, so you can sit on your head for hours on end without any discomfort. The grip of the HD 350BT is firm enough, but certainly not too firm. It remains comfortable for several hours.
In addition, these headphones have an enormous battery life. According to the packaging, 30 hours should not be a problem, but I have the feeling that this device can last much longer. I've had it for a little over a week now, only charged it to 100% the first night and have been using it for an average of 8 hours a day (70% of that time with music) and there is currently about 20% of the battery level left.
Something I personally find very annoying is the battery indicator voice. You sometimes hear a female voice say "More than x hours of playtime". Although you can trigger this manually with a button, you will also hear this automatically when no music is playing and you pass a certain battery level. If you only hear this once, this was not a problem, but I notice that the battery level is not tracked 100% accurately, so you get to hear the current and previous status several times at such a limit. For example, you will hear "Between 6 and 12 hours play time", only to hear "More than 12 hours play time" a minute later. Another minute later you suddenly hear "Between 6 and 12 hours play time". This is annoying, but only when no music is playing. As soon as sound comes through your headphones, that indicator is not activated.
Finally, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that these headphones do not have an AUX connection. Although this is limiting for many, I don't immediately see it as a big disadvantage, since I knew it before I bought the device. As a musician I use high-end AKG headphones for the AUX connection, so AUX was not a requirement for me. If that's it for you, then I don't think this is the product for you.
Conclusion: If you can live with the fact that the Sennheiser HD 350BT does not have an AUX connection and if your ears are small to average, these headphones are highly recommended. Especially for the price. Overall, with the sound you get, this unit seems to be a step better than its competitors in the same price range. As a basshead you will not find your thing here, but if you like a wonderful, balanced and open sound, I have no doubt that the HD 350BT will certainly please you within this price range. I certainly don't regret my purchase in the short term and if this continues, it certainly won't be the case in the long term. Highly recommended!
