According to our smart light expert
The Innr RSL 115 is a recessed spot with a built-in smart light. With this spot, you provide your house with smart lighting. This spot is extra flat, so you can easily place it anywhere. For example, above the counter or in the hall. This smart light emits warm white light. You dim this built-in spot via the app from Innr, Hue, or Trådfri. This way, you can choose the right atmosphere for any moment. In the Innr app, you can easily select pre-set scenes. The light isn't just compatible with the Innr Bridge, but also with Philips Hue and Ikea Trådfri.

In general a quality product, but there is 1 very stupid design flaw in the product and 2 other stupid (smaller) design flaws.
The LED driver (=adapter) is the long one, to feed through the spot hole with an existing extra low ceiling. So if you already have an existing ceiling of, for example, 45mm installation height, you will not get the LED driver under your ceiling through the spot hole. The LED driver is too long for that. The also supplied Zigbee receiver, on the other hand, is nicely compact (not as long as the LED driver) and you can get it through the spot hole with a 45mm installation depth. I think they just supplied a standard LED driver, but didn't think about whether it could be placed under the ceiling when the ceiling is extra shallow, for which you naturally want to use these 'recessed' spots. They should have used a more compact, or a disc (round) shape LED driver. If you don't take this into account, you won't get it under your ceiling. Or you should already install it under your ceiling when you are building your ceiling. But if it ever has to come out, you have to cut a bigger hole, otherwise it won't come out. Just stupid, didn't really think about it.
The instruction states that you have to drill the hole at 70mm diameter. In theory, the housing of the spot would fit, but of course there are also clamps on the spot, to clamp the spot in the hole in the ceiling. These clamps (and therefore the entire spot) will not fit through the 70mm hole. The hole must then be at least 74/75mm. Again a (minor) design error, or instruction error.
The terminals themselves have an orange plastic 'cap' or 'cover'. As a result, the clamp is not smooth, but has an edge of the plastic itself. When the spot is clamped through the hole in your ceiling, you can hardly get the spot out, because exactly that edge of the plastic clip remains behind the edge of the hole (ie the inside of the hole). You are then messing around to get the spot out without damaging your ceiling. In my opinion, this is again a design flaw and they should have finished the plastic cover nicely smooth on the clip without an edge. Or no case at all.
Finally, the spot itself has 1 short wire with mini plug and 1 long wire (170cm) with plug. There are therefore no 2 short wires on the spot, so that you could disconnect it directly at the hole in the ceiling, so that it does not have to get stuck on the wiring if you still have to do something on your ceiling (plaster, paint, etc. ). Because of the long fixed wire on the spot, you always have to run this wire through the electrical tube in your ceiling to the next spot or Zigbee receiver. As a result, you cannot disconnect the spot at the hole, because you then have to pull back the entire 170cm wire and then possibly have to feed it through the electrical tube again (with tension spring). It would therefore be more convenient to have separate long wires to feed them through the electrical pipe, and 2 short fixed wires to the spot, so that you can easily disconnect and connect them. In addition, the long bears should be 180cm long, but these are a maximum of 170/175cm long. This is important for the maximum distance between the spots, and how far you can let the wire hang out of your spot hole (to be able to connect the spot to the plug)
Furthermore, the spot gives a nice warm light, approximately equal to the appearance of a traditional halogen spot. It is also nicely warm dimmable and the overall build quality is good. So satisfied, but due to the good overall impression of the spot, the 4 design errors mentioned are disappointing, just stupid in my eyes.
