After spending 1 year with the Galaxy Buds+ (also highly recommended), the brand new Galaxy Buds Pro seemed interesting to me. The product was neatly delivered by a Coolblue bicycle delivery person (great fun) and the packaging of the product already has a good appearance. In the box you will find a USB-A > USB-C cable, a total of 3 sizes of eartips, some paperwork and of course the earbuds in their case. I opted for the purple version and I think the color really comes into its own. The touch surfaces are made of a purple shiny metallic plastic with the inside of the caps in matte purple. Unfortunately, these surfaces are fingerprint magnets, but they do their job well in registering all touch commands. These caps do (almost) everything you could wish for; great sound for their size (no they will never sound as good as a real headphone, but they do come very close), the finish is beautiful (well you pay for that too) and the ease of use is top. Unfortunately for me there is a downside: they are a bit looser in my ears, which makes me (still, I always get used to this) feeling a bit unsure whether they will stay in my ears. For example, sometimes you want to eat something with the ears in your ear and chewing movements push the earplugs a little bit out of my ears, although this can simply be prevented by not chewing (duh). If you don't really like these ears (or are you afraid that the ears won't fit you), you can always opt for the Galaxy Buds (+). These earphones have a lot in common with the Buds Pro and are a bit tighter in the ears if you find that more comfortable. This was my review greetings!
