Very poor indoor range

The range of the baby monitor varies greatly. In the living room downstairs this is not a problem, in the bedroom upstairs next to the 2 baby rooms, the range drops out regularly. On average, we wake up every hour at night from beeping because it loses the connection to the baby unit. We live in a new building.
As expected, you only see 1 baby at a time. But the sound also only works with 1 baby at a time. It is possible that your baby has been crying for 6 seconds before you hear it. Especially with a sick baby who is choking, it is possible that your baby makes a sound in those 6 seconds and then not for a while. As a result, it can happen that the baby has been struggling to breathe for several minutes before you hear it.
The VOX function works, but is not sensitive enough. If you turn it off, the sound is on continuously, but you hear a continuous rumbling. A rumbling that is louder than the silent sobs of a baby. When the function is on, the baby has to cry before it starts. So if you want to hear a very stuffy nose of a sick baby, this baby monitor will not help you.
