A complete bad buy.

Simple plug and play device
a lot of noise

The sound is intelligible at higher volumes, but with a lot of noise across the line. If you use it to monitor your baby at night, you will lie awake from the loud noise while your baby is quiet and you sometimes hear your baby babble through the thin wall without the luvion registering it (It is therefore also no setting that should be different). Range not tested.
