On my new 16-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Max chip, I can perform the toughest tasks easily and quickly. In addition, I multitask between software such as Shapr3D and Xcode, without my MacBook getting warm. Thanks to the large, razor-sharp screen, I don't miss a single detail. As a result, my MacBook weighs a bit more than the smaller models.
Powerful enough for 3D editing and app development
The appearance of this MacBook has not changed much compared to its predecessor. But the processor has become a lot more powerful. I opted for an M2 Max chip with 32 gigabytes of RAM and 512 gigabytes of storage. When choosing your composition, keep in mind that you cannot change this composition later. Do you save a lot of files? For example, immediately opt for 1 terabyte of storage. My composition is more than enough for me, because I also store a lot of files in iCloud. With my MacBook I make 3D designs in Shapr3D and I develop apps in Xcode. I easily divide all my tasks on 4 monitors. At 2.1 kilograms, my MacBook weighs a bit more. This makes it less suitable for on the go. An Ethernet connection is also missing, so you don't have to use an internet cable. Personally, I don't mind this much, because I use my docking station for this. I don't worry about the security of my files, because all my data is well secured with my own fingerprint: Touch ID.
The longest battery life ever
The first time I wanted to use my new MacBook, I had to charge it. This went very fast. After this I used my MacBook intensively and yet I only had to charge it again after two working days. I do this with the included MagSafe 3 charging cable. Once my MacBook is fully charged, the light on this magnetic cable turns green. A simple but useful detail.
You won't miss a single detail on the impressive 16-inch screen
I find the display of this MacBook very impressive. The colors and sharpness of the screen are lifelike. Whether I'm watching a nature documentary or editing the most complex 3D files: watching this screen is a party. In addition, this MacBook has an unprecedented refresh rate thanks to ProMotion, so that everything runs smoothly and quickly. In addition, on a larger screen I simply see more details and keep a better overview.
