For a near dark/ dark room its perfect brightness it's more than enough. Compared with other projectors of lower class, dlp is dust free. Better image quality and colors than lcd led projector. Using it with apple tv with hdmi for smoother experience and easy casting since using a iphone. Google tv is also smooth but sometimes a little laggy but acceptable for overall compact and on to go design with harmon kardon audio.
Portability is great and with the powerbase build in 20,000 mah battery you can easily project 2 movies about 2 hours each and have some battery left to not completely deplete it and preventing battery damage.
Xgimi has more accessoires on there website like a 70inch outdoor foldable screen (60 sec building it). Makes it a very portable projector and very easy to use product without any dust issues on image since its dlp which means that the lee/light chamber is closed.
