Good picture quality but what a bad battery

Good image quality

Initially, I was quite happy with the Arlo camera, but unfortunately, it's getting worse and worse, and we haven't even had it for a year yet. First of all, the subscription is getting more and more expensive; it used to be €60 per year for one camera, and now it's €90... just a 150% increase in one year. The picture itself is good (although I think other, cheaper cameras provide just as good a picture), and the detection range is also excellent (our driveway is 20m, and it manages that). We sometimes have problems with the Wi-Fi connection because the camera only supports 2.4 GHz and not 5 GHz, so we can't connect it through our Wi-Fi extender. The biggest drawback, in my opinion, is the battery: it only lasts a month at most, sometimes only two weeks if the weather is cold and there's a lot of detection. Every time, I have to climb a ladder to take it off and charge it indoors, and then we also have charging problems. The camera regularly flashes orange, which means there are charging problems, but I have no idea why or how to fix it. Then the camera sits in the house for a few days, trying to charge it again and again without success, and then suddenly it works, charges, and we're saved for another month. Absolutely useless.
