Not happy

To be honest, I don't see any advantages (anymore).
What a noise!

I ordered this computer six months ago. An important point was that it shouldn't make too much noise. I looked at masses of user reviews, but nothing really stood out to me. Until I actually started using the device. The slightest program makes the fan kick in and blast at full speed.

Moreover, various defects cropped up shortly after I started using it. Programs that seem to spontaneously duplicate themselves, automatically logging out after 2 (!) minutes, and I couldn't do anything about it. The monitor via the docking station just wouldn't cooperate, not only at the beginning where I understand there needs to be a "handshake," but also right in the middle of a session. And every time, I blamed myself. Finally, a few weeks ago, I reinstalled all the software. I also replaced the docking station. Unfortunately, there is still no improvement. The old problems are returning, and today it promptly shut down completely with the excuse of an "unexpected problem." I am seriously considering getting my old (7-year-old) device from the attic and taking the ASUS to the recycling center. What a disappointment!
