The KitchenAid 5KHBRV71BM is a powerful, cordless hand blender that comes in handy when you have few electrical outlets in your kitchen. The comfortable grip allows you to hold the mixer well while mixing. After a while it feels heavy in the hand.
User friendly
In addition to the hand blender, the box also contains a measuring cup, pan protector and of course the manual. I click the hand blender foot onto the housing with one turn. I also easily attach the motor block to the top of the hand blender. I can easily operate the hand blender with 2 pushes of a button. What I especially like is that I can build up the speed slowly. Handy, so no batter splashes fly through the kitchen.
Nice hold
The hand blender has a nice ergonomic, firm grip. This gives me a good grip on the mixer. After a while you start to feel the weight of the hand blender. This is due to the battery being quite heavy.
Real powerhouse
While mixing, I notice that the hand blender effortlessly blends my ingredients into a smooth mixture. I don't even press the button all the way for this. On a full battery it lasts about 30 minutes. After use, I charge it with the supplied USB-C cable. Within 3 hours it is fully charged for the next use.
Useful accessories
I mix ingredients in the supplied measuring cup until a smooth mixture. I also store this mixture in the refrigerator through the lid that comes with it. The pan protector prevents me from damaging my frying pan while mixing. Great, that saves me having to buy a new pan.
Easy to clean
After mixing, I easily unscrew the hand blender foot from the housing. I washed the blade piece and the base under the tap. I put the pan protector and measuring cup in the dishwasher.
