The TomTom Go Navigator 7 is a large navigation system that allows me to reach my destination easily and without any problems. The touchscreen works smoothly and quickly. This also makes the operation easy.
Large and clear screen
The first thing that caught my eye is the large and clear 7 inch screen of this TomTom Navigator 7. I like this, because it allows me to clearly see my route and turns. I also set all my data and route well and easily. I could also read the screen well when the sun was shining on it. Because the system is so large, it does get in the way of my field of vision a bit. So I had to search for the right spot on the dashboard. I eventually succeeded.
Clear navigation
I went to Germany for a weekend with my family. Of course I took the Navigator 7 with me to show us the way. Setting the destination went very smoothly. It found the address straight away. In the beginning, the TomTom had a bit of trouble with the exact location of the car. He thought we were driving on a parallel road. Fortunately, this was quickly corrected. The TomTom showed the way well for the rest of the route. I like that it clearly indicates which lane I should be driving on at exits and junctions. This makes everything easier. We arrived at the holiday park quickly and without any problems.
Traffic information via smartphone
I connected the Navigator to my smartphone via Bluetooth. Via the internet on my smartphone, I saw information on the TomTom about roadworks, traffic jams and other events along the way. This also worked smoothly. I was able to drive around a traffic jam nicely.
Updating is easy
I found it easy to update the TomTom via WiFi. This means I don't have to mess around with a cable to my computer. I could choose which maps of which countries I wanted to update. Because I was only going to Germany for a weekend, I could leave the updates for all other countries alone for a while. I updated them later when I had more time.
