1. Who we are and how you can reach us

  1. Hi there! We’re Coolblue. You’ll recognize us from the blue box and orange logo. If you’d like to chat+ with us, you can do so in the following ways:

2. Applicability

  1. These conditions are applicable when you buy or have bought something from us. If not, they're not that applicable. We want to make sure you’ve seen these terms and conditions. They tell you what we do for you and what you can expect from us.
  2. We only deliver in Belgium. If you select a shipping address in a different country, we can refuse your order.
  3. To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old. If you aren't 18 yet, we ask you to have the order placed by your parents or legal guardian. If we notice that an order is placed by a minor, we will not execute it.
  4. Placing an order on the website counts as explicit acceptance of our terms and conditions, which can be accessed at all times through our website
  5. If you order online, we'll make sure to get you a copy of these Terms and Conditions you can either save or print. Whether that's in the order confirmation or during delivery.
  6. Separate conditions can sometimes apply to a product. In this case, these terms and conditions apply as well as the separate ones. If the conditions contradict each other, you can pick the most favorable one. No biggie.

3. The offer and your order

  1. We always tell you what, when, and how, you can buy something. And how much it costs and if you can exchange it. Did you spot a mistake on the product page? You can hold us to it. Except if it’s clearly caused by someone didn’t have their coffee yet and accidentally missed a few zeros (imagine that!), which you could have known beforehand.
  2. Your order will be complete and the agreement between us will be definitive as soon as we've received approval from the card issuer for your transaction with debit or credit cards. We accept Bancontact, Paypal, Visa, MasterCard, money transfers, and cash. If the card issuer does not approve your payment to us, might be delivered later. Orders without a valid payment can't be accepted or processed.
  3. To purchase a product, add it to your shopping cart. Fill out your contact information and invoice data. Choose your delivery method: delivery to your chosen address, send it to the pickup point chosen by you, or pick it up in one of our Coolblue stores. In the last step you see an overview page, you accept our Terms and Conditions and you confirm payment by clicking the button 'I'm going to order'. Once you've gone through these steps, your purchase is final.

4. Right of withdrawal

  1. Sometimes, you and your product simply won’t see eye to eye. In this case, you can send the product back within 30 days after receipt. Otherwise neither of you will be happy. We’ll send you a new product or you’ll receive your payment back within 3 days.
  2. If we haven't received your product yet and have no proof that you've returned it, we can wait with the refund.
  3. Unbox your purchase the way that suits you and examine the product from all sides. Not happy with what you see? Then don’t use it for cooking, swimming, skydiving, or something else you wouldn’t want someone to have done with it before you purchased it. Because if you do, you’ll probably receive less money back for the product.
  4. Did you indicate that you’d like to return your order, within 30 days? We’ll do the following
    • We'll send you a confirmation of your request;
    • We’ll send you a new product or you’ll receive your payment back within 3 days.
  5. There are no shipping costs when you return. Nice, isn't it?
  6. You can register your return via our website or send the European model withdrawal form to our Customer Service via email or mail.
  7. You probably understand that you can’t return the following:
    • Software packages of which the seals are broken or the package has been opened. Or if they’ve already been installed or registered. So you sadly can’t return the brand new FIFA game after completing it.
    • Redeemed or filled in vouchers. Trust us, we also wish we could spend money more than once
    • Well conducted services, such as installation and build-in costs, redeemed vouchers for build-in and/or installation, and the costs for special shipping options, such as Coolblue VandaagNog® and orders delivered by appointment.

5. The price

  1. We’re always honest about the prices, so you don’t come across any unpleasant surprises. See article 3.
  2. The prices in our webshop and our stores are always the same. Consistency is key.
  3. All prices are including VAT.
  4. Regular shipping is always free. Both ways.
  5. If you choose Coolblue VandaagNog®, you'll pay € 9,95 for shipping.
  6. Did you choose delivery by appointment? In that case, you’ll pay between € 9 and € 39 in shipping costs, depending on the time slot and the size of your product.

6. Payment

  1. You can only pay for your online order via the payment module on our website.
  2. Safety first. That's why transaction information is protected by a safe SSL connection. You can recognize a secure SSL connection by the "lock" in your browser's status bar.

7. Keeping promises and warranty

  1. We do what we promise, and we’re always honest. See article 3 for specifics as well.
  2. You have the right to receive a good product. Period. Is something wrong with the product? We’ll we solve this for you, of course. We’ll always comply with the law. If we don’t think the law covers enough, we’ll extend the warranty. We’ll always mention that on the product page.

8. Delivery and implementation

  1. We do anything, and we do mean anything to make you happy. We’re a little obsessed with it, to be honest.
  2. If you order something before 23:59, your purchase will be home the very next day. Unless we agreed otherwise. Is it unexpectedly taking longer than we promised? We’ll let you know as soon as possible. If you no longer want the product, we’ll make sure we deposit your payment as soon as possible, and within 14 days, at the latest.
  3. In essence, the following applies: if you can order it on the website, we have it in stock. Turns out we can’t deliver it? Then you receive your money back, or we offer you a decent alternative. You can always exchange a replacement product, of course.
  4. It’s our fault if your order is damaged or lost before it reached you. We’ll solve it for you as soon as possible.
  5. Please let us know as soon as possible if you've received a damaged product or if it's not correct according to the delivery note or your order. Send the products back to us within 14 days.
  6. If our transportation service causes damage by delivering products late or not at all, we can't do anything about that.

9. Force majeure

  1. In case of force majeure, we'll let you know as soon as possible. As soon as the situation has passed, we will fulfill our promises. If that takes too long, you may cancel your purchase. If you paid in advance, your payment will be refunded within three days.
  2. Force majeure includes any situation outside of our will and control which prevents us from fulfilling our promises to you. This includes strikes, fire, malfunctions, power failures, network failures in, for instance, telecommunication networks, connections, or used systems of communication, or the unavailability of our website at any time, non-timely delivery by suppliers or other third parties.

10. Intellectual property

Our website, logos, texts, photos, names, and all our communication is protected by copyright. That means that you can't copy or reproduce elements such as our logo, website, photos, names, texts, or color combination without our prior consent.

Complaints and disputes

  1. Do you have a complaint? That makes us sad. So sad, that we have several ‘help the customer’ emergency plans ready just for this scenario. This is how we know we can solve this for you as soon as possible.
  2. Let us know as soon as possible when you have a complaint, and describe your problem as clearly as possible. This way, we can help you in the best way possible.
  3. You’ll receive an answer from us within 3 working days, at the latest. We'll help you immediately, or you’ll hear how much time we’ll need to fix things for you.
  4. We'd prefer to help you ourselves. We really can’t work anything out? Then you can submit your case to the arbitration committee of the Federal Government via or via the Belgian ODR Platform. We think this would be really unfortunate, but we do respect your choice.
