Applicability

Article 2.

  1. We try our best to make these general terms and conditions known to you. After all, they say what we do for you and what we'll expect from you. Once you buy from us or if you've already bought something from us, of course. Otherwise it's not all that applicable.
  2. Sometimes, we offer different Terms and Conditions for certain products. In those cases, these general Terms and Conditions apply as well. If two sets of terms and conditions contradict each other, you can choose the most favorable one. See section 3.
  3. We won't make a big deal out of it..
  4. We only deliver in Belgium. If you select a shipping address in a different country, we can refuse your order.
  5. You need to be at least 18 years of age to place an order. If you're not 18 yet, we'd like to ask you to have your parents or a legal guardian place the order. If we notice that an order has been placed by a minor, we can refuse this order.
  6. Placing an order on the website counts as explicit acceptance of our terms and conditions, which can be accessed at all times through our website.
  7. Moreover, if you order online, we will attach a copy of these terms and conditions in a format that can be saved or printed to your order confirmation or, at the latest, to your delivery. We urge you to always save or print the terms and conditions.

The assortment

Article 3.

  1. We will always tell you what, when, and how you can buy something, what it costs and whether you can return it. Promise. Is there a mistake on our product page? Then you can keep us to those. Unless the mistake is clearly a blunder, and you could have seen this beforehand.
  2. If you order from us, you'll receive a confirmation by email. Your order will be complete and the agreement between us will be definitive as soon as we've received approval from the card company for your transaction with debit or credit cards. We accept Bancontact/Mister Cash, Paypal, Visa, MasterCard, money transfers, and cash. If the card company does not approve of your payment to us, we cannot be held responsible for delays in shipping and/or non-delivery of your order. Orders without a valid payment in the name of the registered cardholder will not be accepted or processed.

Withdrawal right

Article 4.

  1. Have you tried the product and are you not satisfied? You may return your product within 30 days after delivery. We will send you a new product, or you will receive your payment back within 3 days.
  2. During the return window you can unpack the product and use it as you would in a store. If you use the product in such a way that it is no longer in 'store condition', you may not receive the full price of the product back.
  3. 'Just because' is a valid reason too..
  4. We're sure you understand that you can't return the following items:
    • Software packages, ink cartridges and toner cartridges with broken seals or opened packaging. Or if they have been installed or registered.
    • Redeemed or filled out vouchers or gift cards.

The price

Article 5.

  2. There is no difference between the prices in our stores and on our website.
  3. All mentioned prices are including taxes and statutory contributions.
  4. Standard shipping is always free.
  5. If you select Coolblue VandaagNog®, an additional 9.95 euros of shipping costs are added to the price.
  6. If you select time slot delivery, an additional 9.95 euros of shipping costs are added to the price..
  7. If you select Coolblue Goeiemorgen, an additional 17.95 euros of shipping costs are added to the price.

Payment

Article 6.

  1. You'll do business with us in a safe internet environment. Our seventy IT developers are working hard for this every day.
  2. In order to guarantee secure online payments and the security of your personal data, the transaction data is transmitted via the Internet, encrypted with SSL technology. To pay with SSL, you don't need special software. You can recognize a secure SSL connection by the "lock" in your browser's status bar.
  3. Is there anything wrong with the payment information? Please let us know.
  4. If we ask you to make a payment in advance, we will prepare your order as soon as we receive the payment.

Conformity and Warranty

Article 7.

  1. See article 3.
  2. You've got the right to receive a good product, period. If something is wrong with it after all, we'll solve the problem for you. In this case we will always follow the law.
  3. For some products, Coolblue or the manufacturer of the product will offer a longer warranty. This warranty is valid in Belgium. If Coolblue or the manufacturer offers a longer or more extensive warranty, we'll put the duration and the conditions on the product's web page.

Delivery and execution

Article 8.

  1. We'll do our best to provide you with good service. We're a little obsessive about this.
  2. If you order something from us before 23:59 o'clock on Monday to Saturday, you'll receive it the next day. If you order on Sundays before 20:00 o'clock, you'll receive your order on Monday. Exceptions to our delivery are indicated on the product page or in the shopping cart. If the delivery of a product takes longer, or if we cannot deliver everything on time, you'll be notified as soon as possible. You can then cancel your purchase. If you paid in advance, your money will be refunded within 3 days.
  3. If we can no longer supply a product you ordered we'll refund your payment, or we'll offer you a good alternative. You can always return these alternative products.
  4. If a product is damaged or lost before it reaches you or a recipient you selected, it is our responsibility.

Force majeure

Article 9.

  1. In case of situations involving forces beyond our control it is possible that we cannot fulfill our obligations towards you. In this case we will let you know as soon as possible. As soon as the situation has passed we will fulfill our promises. If that takes too long, you may cancel your purchase. If you paid in advance, your payment will be refunded within three days.
  2. Force majeure includes any situation outside of our will and control which prevents us from fulfilling our promises to you. This includes strikes, fire, malfunctions, power failures, network failures in, for instance, telecommunication networks, connections, or used systems of communication, or the unavailability of our website at any time, non-timely delivery by suppliers or other third parties.

Intellectual property

Article 10.

  1. Our website, logos, texts, photos, names, and all our communication in general are protected by copyright.
  2. This means that you cannot copy or reproduce our logo, website, photos, names, texts, color combination etc. without our prior consent.

Compaints procedure

Article 11.

  1. Do you have a complaint? That's a shame. We'll do everything to solve your complaint. Of course we've got a neat procedure for this.
  2. If you have a complaint, please let us know via klantenservice@coolblue.be, phone number 03 8082700, or via a letter addressed to: Coolblue N.V. attn. R. Willemsens Borsbeeksebrug 28, Gebouw 5 2600 Berchem. Describe your problem as clearly as you can. That way we can help you best.
  3. You'll receive a reply from us within three days at the latest. We'll either help you right away, or we'll tell you how long we need to fix your issue.
  4. You can also issue a complaint about our products or service at SafeShops.be through: www.safeshops.be. We'd rather help you ourselves, though. See article 2, section 3.
  5. What if we really can't resolve things together? You can submit your case to the Consumer Mediation Service of the Federal Government. This service can process your complaint or forward it to another organization. You can reach the Consumer Mediation Service via this link: https://www.consumentenombudsdienst.be/nl
  6. You can also submit your claim to the complaint committee via the Belgische ODR Platform.
