Which IP camera subscriptions are there?
With many IP cameras, you can store the recorded footage in the cloud. You need a subscription for this. What you pay for this and which extra functions you'll get differs per brand. You can read all about it in this article.
Ring, TP-Link Tapo, and Imou
Ring Home
With a Ring Protect subscription, you can store recorded footage for up to 180 days. You can also share videos with others and receive extra precise notifications. That way, you know exactly who or what's on screen. A Basic subscription is enough for 1 camera. Do you want a subscription for multiple Ring cameras? Choose a Standard subscription. With a Premium subscription, you can have continuous live footage and record 24 hours per day. That's useful when you use Ring camera at the office, for example.

- Ring Home Premium: € 199.99 for multiple cameras
Tapo Care
With a basic TP-Link Tapo subscription, you can store footage from 1 to 5 cameras. You get 7 days of unlimited cloud storage with this, so you can watch the videos anytime, anywhere. With a premium subscription, you can store footage from multiple cameras for a longer time. A camera with Tapo Care also has AI recognition.
Annual costs
- Tapo Care Basic: € 29.99 per camera or € 109.99 for up to 5 cameras.
- Tapo Care Premium: € 36.99 per camera or € 124.99 for up to 10 cameras.
Imou Protect
With Imou Protect, the camera sends you a security report at the end of the day. That way, you know what has happened. You can choose between 2 Imou subscriptions. With a basic subscription, you can review footage for 7 days. You can give up to 10 people access to the camera. Choose a premium subscription to store footage for longer and share with more people.

- Imou Protect Basic: € 28.99 per camera.

Google Nest, Eufy, and Philips Hue
Google Nest Aware
To review footage from your Google Nest Cam and store it, you need a Nest Aware subscription. You can choose between a regular or a plus subscription. You can store footage for either 30 days or 60 days with these. A camera with a Plus subscription records continuously and then stores the footage for 10 days. With a Nest Aware subscription, you can also set up activity zones. This way, you'll receive less unnecessary notification.

- Nest Aware; € 60 for all your cameras.
- Nest Aware Plus: € 120 for all your cameras.
eufy cloud backup
Most of the time your store the footage from a eufy IP camera on the HomeBase or an SD card. Want to make an extra backup of your recordings? Choose a eufy cloud backup subscription. That way, you can store the footage up to 30 days and watch them anytime, anywhere. Note: this subscription doesn't work with every eufy device.

Philips Hue Secure
IP cameras with Philips Hue Secure record continuously. You can set up activity zones and smart notifications, so you're always up-to-date on what's going on. You know exactly at what time someone walked by that way, for example. You can store the recordings for up to 30 days with a basic plan, and up to 60 days with a plus plan. You can connect 1 or 2 cameras to the basic subscription, and up to 10 to the plus subscription.
