The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 can easily carry out demanding tasks, thanks to the powerful Octa-Core 2.4GHz Snapdragon 855 processor. The 128GB model has 6GB of RAM. As a result, it can performs demanding tasks effortlessly. Do you want more storage space for your apps, photos, and videos? Choose the 256GB model with 8GB RAM. That way, the tablet is suited for entertainment and multi-tasking, as well as playing games.
The Tab S6 is the first tablet equipped with a dual camera on the back, so you can capture your favorite moments with the 13-megapixel camera. You can use the 5-megapixel wide-angle lens for a group photo during a birthday or family get together. The front of the tablet has an 8-megapixel camera so you can take sharp selfies and make video calls. The included S Pen stylus even allows you to operate the camera remotely.
S Pen stylus
Like its predecessor, the S6 incluedes the S Pen stylus. The S Pen has a number of new functions. For example, you can control the camera with the stylus or make notes about the content you're watching on a transparent sheet. Another big change is the magnetic holder for the S Pen on the back of the tablet. This allows you to charge the stylus wirelessly. The holder does create a bump on the back of the tablet.
Thanks to the slim and light design, you can easily hold the tablet while watching a film on the sharp 2560x1600 10.5-inch SAMOLED screen. The screen is virtually borderless, because the fingerprint scanner is integrated in the screen. This gives the tablet a sleek and modern look. In contrast to previous Samsung tablets, the Tab S6 doesn't have a headphone jack. That means you can only use earbuds and headphones via Bluetooth or the USB-C connector.
The Tab S6 runs on Android 9.0 Pie. Since it offers 2 years of software and security updates, you're guaranteed an upgrade to Android 10.0 Q. Android allows you to adjust the layout to your wishes with themes and widgets. Keep this in mind if you plan to switch to Android from an iOS device. At first, the layout of an Android device can look a bit more complicated.
