Step 1: tilt the washing machine

You should always lift a washing machine with 2 people. First, decide who is will be holding the top and who will be holding the bottom of the washing machine. Are you holding the top? Grab the top of the machine at the back. Tilt the device towards you by pulling the top towards you and taking one step back. If you're holding the bottom, grab the front leg on one side and the back of the washing machine on the other side.

Step 2: lift the washing machine

For safety, we recommend that you put on gloves with extra grip and wear sturdy shoes. Don't forget to bend your knees and keep your back straight. If you're the one holding the bottom of the washing machine, you have to do the lifting. Move the hand holding the leg stand at the front to the corner at the back, so you're holding both sides. Lift the washing machine and let it rest on your leg. Pull the appliance up to your chest and keep your arms at a 45-degree angle. Are you holding the top of the appliance? You have to keep the washing machine balanced. If your washing machine will be placed on the ground floor, go to step 4.
