The CD player is an indispensable part of the HiFi system. Many people still swear by CD or Super Audio CD (SACD) as the ultimate medium to enjoy music. However, CD players are now increasingly able to play digital media as well. For example, there are CD players that have a USB port and then use the built-in Digital / Analog converter to, for example, play MP3 very faithfully. For the time being, the CD player will in any case be a permanent part of the better HiFi set.
