SDS-plus drills fit on a drill or combi hammer with an SDS-plus drill head. With SDS drilling, the drill bit is designed so that the drill is extra locked in the machine and can withstand the large forces that are released when drilling in concrete. It is therefore not surprising that virtually all concrete drills fall under this type of drill.
