PoE adapters

PoE injectors and PoE splitters are both PoE adapters, and can be a handy accessory for an IP camera. This is because a PoE injector allows you to run both the power supply and the data (such as the recorded camera images) through a network cable. You can also use IP cameras in places where you do not have an outlet in the area. A PoE splitter splits the power and data into 2 separate cables, so that you can connect the network cable to a router or switch and plug the power adapter into the socket far away from the IP camera.
