not silent for the silent washing machine category

Not quiet at all for the "quiet washing machine" category. My old 21-year-old washing machine was quieter. I immediately swapped it for a (much more expensive) Miele WSE 383 WCS PowerWash & Steam. The difference in dB after the swap is enormous. The noise was not only quite loud, but also very unpleasant and harsh when adding water, rinsing, washing, and spinning compared to the old washing machine and the new Miele WSE 383 WCS PowerWash & Steam. I can't compare it with washing machines in the same price range, though.
