Bought this as a replacement for my previous Nuki V2. This one had the well-known error that the motor no longer disengages, which means that you can hardly turn the lock by hand.
However, I was so satisfied with the operation of the previous one that I bought this one in the hope that this error would have been developed out of it 2 generations further.
This one does look a bit less attractive, with only plastic, while the V2 version still had an aluminum cover and knob frame.
However, it works as usual: even a bit faster and quieter.
Please note: I almost bought the much nicer pro version, but it can only be placed over cylinders that have a key control. This one can also handle locks with a knob (which you then have to remove and place on the axis of the knob).
All in all, a great lock, from an EU company and without you being tied to a mandatory cloud subscription or your data being sent to a supplier.
It is also good to know that if you connect it to HomeKit (via a HomePod for example) you can also operate it remotely, without having to purchase a €50 upgrade.
The disadvantage of this is that - due to an Apple limitation - you can lock it remotely, but if you choose "unlocked" you actually open the door. HomeKit does not know the difference between "unlocked" and "door open".
If you connect via another local automation (e.g. HomeAsstant via MQTT) then this all works as expected.
