The washing machine does take a little longer on the eco program, but I save a lot of energy with it.
First impression
The display is clear and has a sleek appearance. I use the control knob to select from the various programs. The knob feels sturdy and turns smoothly. What I really like is the matte black part of the panel. The black drum rim also makes the washing machine modern and stylish. The drum is on the small side, but I have enough space for a few days' worth of clothes.
Clean quickly
When I wash my clothes, I usually have little patience. What I do find important is that everything is thoroughly clean. That is why I really like the PowerClean 59-minute program. This washes a half load of 5 kilograms of laundry clean within one hour. This way, I can remove stains even at a low temperature of 30 degrees Celsius. With this, I wash quickly and still save energy.
Pods dissolve better
Thanks to UniversalDose, I also get cleaner washes, because I dissolve pods faster. I have a separate compartment for this in the detergent drawer. I tap the 'pods' function on the display. During the wash cycle, a powerful jet of water sprays the pod open, allowing the detergent to reach my clothes better. No sticky residue is left behind. If I prefer, regular detergent is also an option.
App control
I operate my washing machine remotely using the AEG app. For instance, I load the drum with shirts in the morning and choose a program while I am at work. I receive a notification when my laundry is clean. I find it convenient that I can save my favorite settings.
Energy-efficient washing machine
It is important to me to save a lot of energy. Fortunately, with energy class A-40%, I am well-equipped with this washing machine. This helps me keep my energy bill low. The energy-efficient eco program washes a full drum in just over 3.5 hours. This is on the long side, but normal compared to other washing machines.
Less ironing
I freshen up a shirt that smells a bit musty after wearing it for one day using the ProSteam steam function. This saves me a wash cycle. This is better for my clothes. I also use less water and energy. In addition to the freshening function, I also reduce wrinkles with steam. I am happy that I finish ironing faster thanks to the ProSteam function.
