wiring error / none

After a long search I came across the parrot CK3100 via pdashop for my new HP ipaq614c nl. Installation was a breeze, connect the ISO plugs, insert the microphone, connect the phone, set the language and just run. But every time the ignition was turned off, the display immediately went out without the "Goodbye" message. So again check the wiring harness and ISO plugs. Everything was perfect. Permanent plus, Switched plus and ground in the right place. According to the booklet, the Orange wire had to be connected to the switched (ignition lock), the Red wire to the permanent plus (eg battery +). This was indeed connected correctly to the ISO plug, but I noticed the labels behind the two fuses. On the thin orange wire, behind the fuse, was the label "permanent plus (battery)" and on the red wire the label "switched (ignition lock)". This is contrary to the description. After changing the fuse holders everything worked correctly and the "goodbye" message was back. This is clearly a fault in the wiring harness. This was also the reason that the Parrot always jumped back to the English language after startup. I also noticed that after starting up the Parrot started with the message "Call", without placing a call. This problem was solved after a software upgrade. I am now a satisfied user of the Parrot CK3100. Good luck with this info.

What a great product! User-friendly, easy to update and works perfectly in combination with my Samsung D600.
