The 35 1.4 has a nice Bokeh and a very good center sharpness, which was the most important thing for me when purchasing this lens. The lens is very small and compact and is therefore no reason for me to prefer the 35 2.0 over this one. Distortion is nil. The build quality is by Fuji standards... excellent. The front lens slides in-out a bit when focusing but nothing dramatic. When focusing, there is also a bit more noise than, for example, an 18-55 (comparable to the 23 1.4) The 35 1.4 is definitely a top lens and definitely recommended if you have the same expectations as me (see my plus points) Very highly recommended!
