Although the original RAM in the macbook pro 13 (early 2011) only has 1333Mhz, this 1600Mhz RAM fits in perfectly. The system even sees them as 1600Mhz and everything works perfectly.

Bought two of these sets for an upgrade of my iMac late 2009. By default, this mac has 1066 MHz memory and would only work with 1066 MHz modules. It is not easy to find these modules these days. Because the memory is generally backward compatible, this memory is purchased. And it works. The memory now works at 1333 MHz (which is what the i5 processor also supports) and runs stable. Top. You read the wildest stories about what would and especially would not work. But these stories are often incomplete. Don't specify what memory they used and what type of iMac it is. There is a difference between the Core2duo models and the i5 and i7 models of the late 2009 iMacs. Personally, I would always go for Mac specific memory.
