Out of the box, 3 plugs in one it works!! The housing does not get hot, but the housing does feel very plastic. Confirming it takes a while to find a suitable solution, a pity that TP-Link has not devised a wall bracket or something else to place the injector. This makes the injector not too expensive, but not cheap either.

According to our PoE adapter expert
Supplies power to network devices via the network cable.
Power over Ethernet up to a maximum of 100 meters.
Automatically determines the required voltage.
A PoE device on the other end of the cable is required.
The TP-Link TL-POE150S is a PoE injector that makes a standard network connection PoE-compatible. This PoE injector features one gigabit Ethernet network input and one input for a power cable. You can connect an IP camera to these inputs, for example. The TP-Link TL-POE150S then uses the network output to supply both data (e.g., camera images) and mains power via a network cable. This is called PoE.
Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a technology to deliver power and data over a single network cable. PoE therefore makes an extra power adapter unnecessary. This is especially useful if you deploy a network device, such as an IP camera, in a location where there is no power outlet.
