Where other electric chainsaws often have a tool-less chain tensioner, the McCulloch has the same chain tensioning system as the petrol chainsaws. This allows the chain to be tensioned better and the tension is not compromised by heating plastic during intensive use. Due to its low weight, this chainsaw is also easy for women to handle (bought this chainsaw for myself to assist my husband in cutting and sawing our trees).
