I use this camera as a security camera in combination with my Synology NAS. After I've been using another Foscam (FI9821W) for about a year, I now needed an extra camera due to a move. The recorded image is very clear, I think even better than on the FI9821W. Even in the dark, everything is clearly visible up to a meter or 7.
